Imabari, a Japanese excellence
The fukusa is a piece of silk fabric still used in Japan today to wrap small gifts or monetary offerings to carry with oneself during traditional Japanese ceremonies such as weddings or funerals.
Wrapping the gift in a fukusa to prevent it from being damaged is a sign of maturity and respect for the person receiving the gift. For this reason, warew has created a pouch inspired by the traditional fukusa, handcrafted in Japan.
Supima cotton
Supima cotton is an extra-long staple cotton, considered one of the world's finest. Its fibers, longer and more regular than regular cotton, produce much smoother and more compact yarns: this results in an incredibly soft fabric, resistant to washing, and less prone to losing shape or pilling.
The Imabari towels in this set are spun from untwisted cotton, further enhancing their softness and water absorption capacity from the first use. The Japanese manufacturer of this towel line is the only one in Japan officially recognized by the Supima Association.

How can I keep the towel soft over time?
We recommend washing Imabari towels individually in a laundry net, using a large volume of water to reduce friction.
We also recommend not using fabric softeners or tumble drying, which could damage the product over time.
